Using Advanced XRay
These are the default keys. They aren't always bound out of the box — check Options → Controls → XRay if nothing happens.
\Toggle XRay on / off
GOpen the selection & settings GUI
Adding blocks
Open the settings GUI and pick one of three methods:
- From hand — sets up the basic version of the held block, without axis, facing or other block-state data.
- Looking at — sets up the complex version, keeping the exact block state. Best for blocks where specific data matters.
- Searching a list — browse the full block list; like "from hand", it adds the basic version.
Set the name and colour, click add, then enable the block. Click any entry in the GUI to toggle it on or off.
Editing and sharing
Right-click an entry in the GUI to edit it; changes apply instantly on save. Your list is stored as plain JSON in the config folder, so you can hand-edit it or send it to a friend.
Shaders
Shader compatibility is version-specific — sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Help on that front is welcome via issues or pull requests on GitHub.
Version support
Only the two latest major Minecraft versions are supported. Older builds stay available on the downloads page but don't receive fixes.
